  1. I like the drawing that shows simply where everything occurred. I would have like to see a casualty count to better comprehend how many lives were lost on each side. this battle detracted from the colonists because it was a major loss and destroyed the Continental Army in the South.

  2. I like that you took the time to draw out a map that shows how and where the battle occurred. I would have liked to see a little more information concerning the political aspects of the war. This detracted from the American cause because it wiped out the continental army to the South.

  3. Your illustrations are very helpful in visualizing how it all panned out. What are some of the condition or factors that contributed to the success of the British and not Americans? This definitely detracted from American success due to the destruction of the Southern Continental Army.

  4. The map gives us a good idea of how well the British cut off Charleston from basically everything. Other than isolation, what were some other tactics the British used to capture Charleston? A crushing defeat like this definitely discouraged further military organization in the South.

  5. I appreciate the use of precise facts- like the number of men and exact locations. It detracted from the rebel victory because it destroyed the Continental Army in the South.
