P- Group consisting of Massachusetts Bay, Plymouth, Connecticut, and New Haven to provided a united defense against the Dutch, French, and Native Americans as well as settle boundary disputes.

Louis XIV becomes king of France
P- There is a new king in power, which means that everything that has been the same for a large chunk of time is about to be completely rethought over and tweaked to where he deems fit as king. One must also realize that Louis XIV believe in near absolutism.
E- As is with a new rise to power, the economy is based on how he runs the government. This may lead to inflation, depression, dramatic economic growth, or anything in between. This is also influenced by whether or not the country is currently at war.
R- As king, Louis XIV had control over the Catholic Church.
S- As usual, you either loved the king because he gave you a high position in government because you had the same views as him, or you hated him because you had no control because you were poor and living on the streets.
I- Louis XIV stayed in tune with previous kings and rulers, merely trying to carry on the legacy, for he figured, why reinvent the wheel.
A- One can be certain that he had many self portraits.
1644: Second Anglo-Powhatan War
P- This was the last “give it all you got” for each side (Virginians and Powhatans) because having already decimated each other in the First Anglo-Powhatan War, they figured they could rid the world of each other in one fell swoop. The Virginians wanted to exterminate the rest of the Powhatans, and the Powhatans wanted to drive the Virginians back to Europe.
E- There is one way trade (war).
R- The Virginians (Anglos) were Puritans, and the Indians (Powhatans) were very spiritual and were guided in their daily lives by spiritual influence.
S-They obviously didn’t like each other, evidence being that they trying killing each other.

A- One may suppose that there were local artists on each side that had drawn the war and all the bloodshed.
1649: Act of Religious Toleration in Maryland
P- This was an unusual step for Maryland, and it prooved to be a great happening for those who were in this situation.
E- There was an increase in economic activity in Maryland due to the population increase.
R- This allowed many who had been shunned for their beliefs to escapefrom persecution and find safety in Maryland
S- This changed society by allowing a place from those who are hated by the larger majority to run to Maryland for safety.

P- This is a major move, for it immediately replaces the king with someone else who may not have the same viewpoints, skewing the ideal construction of the governmental system at that given time.
